Hi there, unfortunately, gstreamer cannot playback a video sample found here: http://demo.archermind.com/Test%20Sample/Video/MPEG%204/Divx3/Low-Motion/ It seems to me like a ordinary AVI-Video: $ LANG=C file ~/Downloads/576-320.avi /home/greffrath/Downloads/576-320.avi: RIFF (little-endian) data, AVI, 576 x 320, 29.97 fps, video: DivX 3, audio: uncompressed PCM (stereo, 44100 Hz) VLC and avplay play the sample back without any problems, but Totem gives an error message and gst-play tells the following: $ LANG=C gst-play-1.0 ~/Downloads/576-320.avi Volume: 100% Now playing /home/greffrath/Downloads/576-320.avi Prerolling... ** (gst-play-1.0:22467): CRITICAL **: gst_audio_format_to_string: assertion 'format != GST_AUDIO_FORMAT_UNKNOWN' failed Redistribute latency...
