I committed this version to package's git: _Description: Change MAC automatically? Please specify whether macchanger should be set up to run automatically every time a network device is brought up or down. This gives a new MAC address whenever you attach an ethernet cable or reenable wifi.
As for the MAC of a deconfigured network device, that makes perfect sense for most network devices. The MAC stays the same whether the device is enabled or disabled. And in some scenarios, changing the MAC before disabling is the only way I've found to get the MAC change to stick. As for translations, I haven't done a package with translations before. So I'm thinking I'll wait to get some translations committed before I issue a 1.7.0-5 version of this package. .hc
