I've tried this on a recent unstable and it works for me. To be exact, the versions used are: python2.7 2.7.9-1 amd64 libpython2.7-stdlib:amd64 2.7.9-1
with the new livestreamer 1.11.1-1 release. Can you check if this issue has been resolved for you as well with the new Python 2.7 upload?
