Package: goobox Version: 3.3.1-5+b1 Severity: normal If I plug a USB DVD drive into my laptop and start goobox it works correctly, the interface appears. If I unplug the drive and try starting goobox the interface windows doesn't appear. It would be useful if goobox would show a window that says it can't start without an optical drive.
This is the output on the command line: $ goobox ** (goobox:7858): CRITICAL **: goo_window_new: assertion 'drive != NULL' failed (goobox:7858): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_window_present_with_time: assertion 'GTK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed $ It looks like there is a failing assertion. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.17-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages goobox depends on: ii gnome-icon-theme-symbolic 3.12.0-1 ii gstreamer1.0-plugins-base 1.4.4-2 ii gstreamer1.0-plugins-good 1.4.4-2 ii libatk1.0-0 2.14.0-1 ii libbrasero-media3-1 3.11.4-1 ii libc6 2.19-13 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.14.0-2.1 ii libcairo2 1.14.0-2.1 ii libcoverart0 1.0.0+git20140109-2 ii libdiscid0 0.6.1-3 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+b1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.43.1-2 ii libgstreamer1.0-0 1.4.4-2 ii libgtk-3-0 3.14.5-1 ii libmusicbrainz5-1 5.1.0-2 ii libnotify4 0.7.6-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 Versions of packages goobox recommends: ii dbus-x11 1.9.4-1 ii gnome-media 3.4.0-2 ii yelp 3.14.1-1 goobox suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
