Dear Maintainer,
In ui-gnome/apt-watch-gnome.cc, there are multiple places where
panel_applet_get_preferences_key() function is used. However, this
function is deprecated and is removed in the latest stable release
of gnome-panel (currently in NEW queue).
You should either port to GSettings [1] (and use functions like
panel_applet_get_settings, this is the recommended way) or store the
settings in a single gconf location (not per-instance).
