thanks for your report and as an upstream developer of SimGrid, I will fix the problem. But the bashism that you found only occures when the seq utility is not found. That's part of coreutils which is essential on Debian, but it was not to be found on some Mac OSX systems. Thus reducing severity and removing the tag as we are not trying to fix Mac OSX today (lucky us).
