Hello, I have also got tricked by documentation. It mentions /etc/default/i8kmon and /etc/i8kmon, while actually daemon uses /etc/i8kmon.conf !
Any progress in fixing this? Also, shouldn't there be a default /etc/i8kmon.conf created? It is not, at least in Wheezy i8kutils 1.33.
