Yes, it seems it was fixed in 2.0, but it has a somewhat unclear license. I've backported the fix for 1.1. But don't have any 4k discs nearby, can you test it for me? You should build it for yourself[1] and only in the last chance use my own binary packages for amd64[2] or i386[3].
