Users of Debian who aren't skilled will never try agian to report a bug if the bug reporting utility does not work as it happened to be the case too many times within the last year. Yes the CL version can be used as a fall back. But it's not as easy as the gtk version. And although I am not a beginner I think twice before switching back from the gtk versions to the CL version as it involves editing the rc file manually.
