Package: live-build Version: 4.0.3-1 The correct directory for storing apt conf files I believe is /etc/apt/apt.conf.d. The chroot_apt script correctly saves files there, however bootstrap_archives and chroot_archives scripts incorrectly (I believe) save some optional files to /etc/apt/conf.d.
Again: FYI, I'm not supplying a patch here right now because I'm in the middle of working on a large set of improvements to the code base, which I hope Daniel accepts when I'm done, and a fix for this in incorporated into it. I'm creating this bug report so the bug isn't lost track of should for example Daniel not accept these big changes I'm working on.
