The issue itself is not fixed. You will still get this log message on every boot and when you reload/restart udev. What has been fixed is the frequency of this message showing up. I haven't investigated yet, what effect it has on networkd if the new network interface naming is not used (remember that in debian/ubuntu net.ifnames=0 is the default). If networkd is still functional, maybe this log message should be downgraded to debug. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
