Dear Maintainer,

I use MATE and Lightdm (1.10.3-3).i

In the Lightdm configuration "allow-user-switching" is enabled:

allow-user-switching=true

$ dm-tool list-seats
Seat0
  CanSwitch=true
  HasGuestAccount=false
  Session2
    UserName='fredo'

But the switching users does not work.

In MATE, when I clic on the menu "System" --> "Close session" --> button "Switch user" nothing happens. The window with the three buttons closes, but the login screen does not appear. I stay on my session.

In .xsession-errors file I have this message:

** (gdmflexiserver:19422): WARNING **: Unable to create transient display: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.gnome.DisplayManager was not provided by any .service files GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.gnome.DisplayManager was not provided by any .service files

Regards.

After looking at mate-session-manager code, I am not even sure if this feature in relation to LightDM will be available for MATE 1.10. It definitely won't be in Debian jessie (MATE 1.8).

Regards,
Mike
