Thanks, and thanks for the patch! Also, apologies for not replying to
this sooner - I did read your original non-bug e-mail to debian-devel
and I was actually wondering whether to ask you if you intend to file
actual bugs.

Now, the thing is, I actually fixed this in wmanager without intending
to when, a couple of months ago, I rewrote wmanagerrc-update in Perl :)
The rewritten version does not use the full path, so it does not have
this bug; however, it has not been uploaded yet. I asked for
sponsorship in #762680 a year ago, got no response, then asked for
sponsorship again just a couple of days before the deadline for packages
that intend to migrate to Jessie before the freeze, got no response for
a couple of days, then withdrew the request.

So now the wmanager package's Git repository has a 'Closes: #769966'[1]
at the end of the changelog entry that notes the rewrite in Perl[2], and
I intend to ask for sponsorship again once the Jessie freeze ends.

Hm, this does leave the question of fixing the bug in Wheezy. Do you
think that the Stable Release Managers will accept a minimal targeted
patch - your patch, actually - that fixes a bug in a way that is
different from the way it is fixed in unstable?

Thanks again for doing this work, filing those bugs, and for all your
work in Debian!
