ruby-inotify is quite the old package and has been rotting along (apart from the occasional rebuild for newer Ruby versions). There's now an FTBFS bug on arm64, and it appears upstream is dead. There are several replacements for it, at least one of them (ruby-rb-inotify) is in Debian already. As there are no rdepends on ruby-inotify, I suspect interested folks can introduce one of the other replacements if ruby-rb-inotify would not be a good enough replacement. Please remove ruby-inotify.
