Hi, the same happened to me, I just installed pastebinit on Debian jessie and it used pastebin.com as default.
Moreover, -b paste.debian.net does not seem to work anymore(?): mbanck@lightning:~$ echo foo | pastebinit -b paste.debian.net http://paste.debian.net/ mbanck@lightning:~$ echo foo | pastebinit -b http://paste.debian.net http://paste.debian.net/ No pastbinit ID is returned, and I don't see it appear in the latest list on paste.debian.net.
