The "actual error" is shown towards the end of that .../console : ClientChannel.cpp:5444:33: error: 'GenericEvent' was not declared ... On my Debian wheezy i386 machine, that declaration comes from line 214 of /usr/include/X11/X.h : 177 /* Event names. ... ... 213 #define MappingNotify 34 214 #define GenericEvent 35 215 #define LASTEvent 36 /* must be bigger than any event # */ ... Is not that so on your build machine?
