Hi, during testing Debian Edu based upon Jessie, we noticed that _sometimes_ autofs starts before the network interface is up. As we use LDAP to get the automounter information from, user homedirs are not available in this case. Maybe the init script could check if /etc/default/autofs contains a value for LDAPURI and if so wait until the network is available? Wolfgang
