Package: php-horde-editor
Version: 2.0.4+debian0-3
Followup-For: Bug #769031

Dear Maintainer,

As you know, even after sym links are added so that all the
appropriate file uploads succeed, CKEditor 4.x does not
appear compatible with Horde 5.2.x and Imp 6.2.x. This was
confirmed by the Horde team today: "Using Ckeditor 4.x will
only be possible when all of IMP's javascript code interfacing
with Ckeditor is rewritten."

The easiest fix appears to be to install files and directories from
horde/framework/Editor/js/ckeditor
into the debian package directory /usr/share/horde/js/ckeditor/

I tried this and it fixed the problem with the HTML editor not working.

This will also remove the dependency on ckeditor 4.4.4 and
the requirement for a sym link imp/core -> /usr/share/javascript/ckeditor/core

The downside is the Horde/Imp HTML compose security updates will now depend
on the Horde dev team and CKEditor security back ports to 3.6.x.

I have suggested that the Horde team establish a sponsorship fund to pay
for moving to a current version of CKEditor.

Thank you
