Package: grml2usb Version: 0.14.10 Severity: normal I run Debian on an amd64 system that uses EFI. However, I want to install grml on a flash drive using UDF and GRUB. I believe GRUB is required here since syslinux doesn't know how to speak UDF.
Trying to use grml2usb --grub tries to install the x86_64-efi version of GRUB, which doesn't work. However, if I edit grml2usb to use --target=i386-pc, it works. Could you make that change, and make the package instead depend on syslinux | grub-pc-bin, syslinux | grub-common so that I don't need to have syslinux installed to use it? -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.17-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages grml2usb depends on: ii mtools 4.0.18-2 ii python 2.7.8-2 ii python-parted 3.10.0-1 ii realpath 8.23-3 ii rsync 3.1.1-2+b1 ii syslinux 3:6.03+dfsg-2 Versions of packages grml2usb recommends: ii genisoimage 9:1.1.11-3 ii syslinux 3:6.03+dfsg-2 ii xorriso 1.3.2-1.1 grml2usb suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- brian m. carlson / brian with sandals: Houston, Texas, US +1 832 623 2791 | http://www.crustytoothpaste.net/~bmc | My opinion only OpenPGP: RSA v4 4096b: 88AC E9B2 9196 305B A994 7552 F1BA 225C 0223 B187
