Hello! I just hit this problem.
Steps to reproduce: start mutt press m for new mail enter random recipient enter random subject enter random content, save and quit from editor press p for pgp menu press a for selecting who to sign as press enter in "Sign as:" prompt press enter to select any random id segfault Here's a not very useful backtrace but atleast zooms in a bit on the problem. (gdb) bt full #0 0x0000000000487392 in pgp_getkeybystr (p=<optimized out>, abilities=0, keyring=<optimized out>) at ../pgpkey.c:997 hints = 0x0 keys = 0x0 matches = 0x0 last = <optimized out> k = <optimized out> kn = <optimized out> a = <optimized out> match = <optimized out> l = <optimized out> #1 0x21000000004874d7 in ?? () No symbol table info available. #2 0x0000000000000000 in ?? () No symbol table info available. Workaround: rebuild the mutt package using DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="noopt nostrip debug" makes the segfault go away.
