OK, some serious poking around with the video options.

1) emotion_generic_player is part of the whole enlightenment / efl
standard applications.
It was never packaged by the debian e team.
This would allow playback via VLC in theory (but to to be honest even
after compiling this myself and installing it, i couldn't get
terminology to see it).

2) Emotion library was not compiled with xine or gstreamer 1.x
support, so those video options will not work.

3) The only option that should work is gst 0.10. However the
developers describe this as buggy / hacky at best (and i've had it
segfault on me and not seen it actually play a video. But i did hear
the audio of one.)

4)
https://git.enlightenment.org/apps/terminology.git/commit/?id=0f463fc4bf4b6cec792365cb5b51a9fa798c34f4

This commit broke gst 0.10 support all together.

So I have already packaged a version that makes tyls and tycat work
fine with images again (as per my previous message, and i can get that
uploaded to mentors shortly).

The question left is do i bother reverting the commit that breaks gst
all together, or do i just note in debian.README that video support is
broken?

Thanks
Anthony
