Dear Maintainer,

I previously used the debian-stable release of latexila and I'm pleased that
input-ed tex-files are shown in the Structure browser. A single click directs
me to their position in the main file. I'd like however to have a double-click
to open the file in a separate tab, so that I can observe it and even edit it.

To me this is the main usecase for clicking the file, but now it takes me a
right-click and navigating to 'open file'.

It would be a usability-feature for me, so hopefully it will be considered for
adoption.
