The outher Desktops i try work well (Mate, kde, blackbox, > openbox) What version of ldm are you running? A newer version just recently migrated to jessie/testing. I'd also be curious if you have the same problems running a wheezy system. Running as fat or thin client? If you could include the output of "ltsp-info" running on the LTSP server, that would be helpful. Also, the contents of lts.conf would also be very useful (/srv/tftp/ltsp/*/lts.conf /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/*/lts.conf /opt/ltsp/*/etc/lts.conf). > If i use: > X -query server :1 > or login over ssh and then start session with > gnome-session > or > cinnamon-session From the thin client itself? how do you run this? Using X -query should be very similar, though not identical, to how LDM_DIRECTX=True works... > everything works fine. > LDM_DIRECTX=False works too. This is somewhat surprising; I haven't had the best luck with any of those desktops using with LDM as a thin client... Does setting X_SMART_COLOR_DEPTH=false in lts.conf help? > I test it with old thin-client (i586, Nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400) and a new one > (amd64, Nvidia) with nouveau. I'll see if i can reproduce the issue myself, though I don't have similar hardware... live well, vagrant
