I still seem to be seeing the issue after taking 0.7.2-1 from unstable -- when I maximize a window, the bottom part is hidden by the panel; changing the value of "Reserve space, and not covered by maximized windows" in the Advanced tab of the Panel Preferences seems to have no effect on this.
