Package: cgminer Version: 4.7.0-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? Trying to start the program normally using normal paramaters. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Tried to specify the USB device with --usb BET:1 DID NOT WORK. I was able to fix the package by pulling the source package and editing the debian/rules file to remove --enable-sp10 and --enable-sp30. That fixed this problem. This left others. After reading the ReadMe from the upstream again, I found that their are modules that should not be built on anything but special systems. I removed all those --enable options from debian/rules and it seems to be stable. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16-3-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages cgminer depends on: ii libc6 2.19-12 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.38.0-2 ii libjansson4 2.7-1 ii libncurses5 5.9+20140913-1 ii libtinfo5 5.9+20140913-1 ii libusb-1.0-0 2:1.0.19-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2 cgminer recommends no packages. cgminer suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
