Since we didnt make the cut for Jessie, we might consider targetting the new dev release 1.6.0 and upload it to experimental (to give it exposure), and continue using exp in case of new releases, and eventual a 1.6 GA. I think I have completed the needed changes in the morph branch, let me know who you want to proceed.
