That's odd, I did add the UI translation you provided, and https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/solaar/filelist lists it as being installed in /usr/share/locale/pt/LC_MESSAGES/solaar.mo... I added it as a patch, as you can see on http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/solaar.git/tree/debian/patches/translation-pt.patch Is the translation not used when you run solaar?
