Package: bridge-utils Version: 1.5-9 Followup-For: Bug #765000 Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I am having a well witten /etc/network/interfaces. If the bridge is autostarted, then the machine is not accessible thru ssh. Nothing in the logs. Firewall sets NAT, masq and rules pass correctly. The ports are available but no connection happens. it does not matter where you put IP, on eth0 or bridge.. It still has no connectivity if the bridge is autostarted on boot. Now, I have my jessie machine started, then manually: ifup br0 && systemctl restart lxc Strangely, the /etc/rc.local fix does not work for me either. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.17.1-grsec (SMP w/12 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages bridge-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.19-12 bridge-utils recommends no packages.
