You are right. My laptop is never powered on at 7:30 (the time at which
cron launches anacron).
The thing that used to work and doesn’t work anymore is anacron being
activated when getting the machine out of sleep. So this is a duplicate
of #744753.
In all cases it should really be fixed for jessie. I think this use case
is very typical.
