i've rescheduled eeepc-acpi-scripts for re-testing in a current sid and installation was successfully: https://piuparts.debian.org/sid/pass/eeepc-acpi-scripts_1.1.12.log Keeping the bug open as I suppose it still happens if one chooses sysv as init system and then installs eeepc-acpi-scripts... cheers, Holger
