I too encountered this problem. By checking syslog, I eventually tracked it
down to a missing dependency on the 3.14.1 version of libmutter0e:
gnome-session[22789]: (gnome-shell:22822): Gjs-WARNING **: JS ERROR: GLib.Error
g-invoke-error-quark: Could not locate meta_get_feedback_group_for_screen:
'meta_get_feedback_group_for_screen': /usr/lib/libmutter.so.0: undefined
symbol: meta_get_feedback_group_for_screen
Upgrading libmutter0e to the 3.14.1 version fixed he problem for me, though
I also upgraded several other gnome packages to 3.14.1 in an attempt to find
the problem, so gnome-shell may not be the only component with this missing
dependency issue.
Would it be a problem if this bug can be marked as DONE, so that the
package can migrate to testing, since libmutter0e is in testing now?
