I've not used systemd yet, but I'm pretty sure acpid works fine when
the socket is sent in as the stdin fd (or something along those lines,
there was a patch made to acpid to allow it to work with its socket sent
in via a fd for the systemd folks).
I would recommend comparing your acpid.service file with Fedora's:
http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/acpid.git/tree/acpid.service
Then have a look at this bug report on the acpid2 page:
http://sourceforge.net/p/acpid2/tickets/3/
Just some thoughts. Hopefully some of this helps you out. Again,
I've not used systemd yet, so I'm of limited help. Let us know if any
of this helps you out and what changes you had to make to the config
files so we can get the changes into Debian.
Thanks for the bug report.
Ted.
