Tonight I needed a way to reset a usb device remotely. I started searching
around and found a few things on the internet. And then I thought, "this is
something the usbutils package should do" and I checked the BTS....

only to find I already filed a wishlist bug for that in Nov 2009...

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=554122

my memory is not what it used to be :/
Anyway here are some newer links with better versions,

http://marc.info/?l=linux-usb&m=121459435621262&w=2
http://www.roman10.net/how-to-reset-usb-device-in-linux/
http://www.roman10.net/how-to-reset-usb-device-in-linuxusing-libusb/

What do you think about including this?

Thanks,
