Package: pidgin
Version: 2.10.9-1+b1
Severity: normal

I don't know if the real problem here lies with pidgin or with libc. I
ran pidgin, and it crashed with the following error:

Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 689: _dl_open: Assertion
`_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed!
