Package: laptop-mode-tools
Version: 1.66-1
Followup-For: Bug #762173

Dear Maintainer,

I can confirm that this bug persists in verseion 1.66-1. Description follows.

   * What led up to the situation?
     - desire to operate computer with an external keyboard.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
     - plugged in an USB keyboard. (brands: Ducky Mini, Ducky G2PRO)
     - started typing
   * What was the outcome of this action?
     - first keypress was lost whenever keyboard wasn't operated for two seconds
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
     - first keypress to register as it should on a keyboard

Furthermore I observed that under /sys/bus/usb/devices/3-1.2/power, the
autosuspend values hadn't been set to -1 as instructed by
/etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/usb-autosuspend.conf . It seems that laptop-mode is
ignoring this configuration file, or that the relevant components are not being
executed at the correct times.

Calling `invoke-rc.d laptop-mode restart' did not change the situation.

Kernel is a kernel.org stable 3.16.4 without Debian patches built with
kernel-package.
