To make adressbar and Browse Network to work, i did the following: installed samba and gvfs-backend and edited /etc/nsswitch.conf as follows (a hint from web): # hosts: files mdns4_minimal [NOTFOUND=return] dns hosts: files dns wins my_pc_name Go->Open Location does not open anything still. Distro should make these settings automatically, no normal user has these information. Maybe there is a problem in the Glib or compatility, as there is the following in my .xsession-errors: (Thunar:1081): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 191671 was not found when attempting to remove it (process:6398): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
