Dear Maintainer, I have written a simple java application that plays a *.wav file. Unfortunately there is no audio output when the file is played. It turned out that the /etc/java-7-openjdk/sound.properties file wasn't configurated correctly. I had to put the first block in comments and I removed the # from the second block and rebooted. Then it worked. According to [1] the sound.properties file contains the settings of ubuntu by default (which did not work for [1] and me). If you look at the properties file in the openjdk 6 folder then it is actually denoted in the comments: The first block is for ubuntu that uses pulseaudio.
