Package: scantailor Version: 0.9.11.1-2 Severity: grave Tags: upstream Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, I upgraded to Debian Jessie. Scantailor failed to run with the message that it could not find libtiff.so.4. I tried: ln -s /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libtiff.so.5 /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libtiff.so.4 and now when I run scantailor I get this message: scantailor: /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libtiff.so.4: version `LIBTIFF_3.9' not found (required by scantailor) and nothing else seems to happen. I'm not sure what to try next. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.14-2-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages scantailor depends on: ii dpkg 1.17.13 ii libc6 2.19-11 ii libgcc1 1:4.9.1-16 ii libjpeg8 8d1-1 ii libpng12-0 1.2.50-2 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.8.6+git64-g5dc8b2b+dfsg-2 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.6+git64-g5dc8b2b+dfsg-2 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.6+git64-g5dc8b2b+dfsg-2 ii libstdc++6 4.9.1-16 ii libtiff5 4.0.3-10+b1 ii libxrender1 1:0.9.8-1 scantailor recommends no packages. scantailor suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
