Package: gnucash
Version: 1:2.6.4-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Charts created by the new version of gnucash have their data misaligned. By this I mean that for the Income/Expense chart the Expense of October is drawn centered around the first of October, the income of November (not October) is drawn centered around the 10th of October and the net profit of October is drawn around the 20th of October. Furthermore the expense and net profit seem to have been shifted by at least a period (since the chart is monthly, this means one month).

Likewise the Expense Over Time chart. In a simple test I have 3 payments in December, all on the same date (2014-12-02), but in the chart the first bar is on 2014-12-01 but the following bars are drawn on 2014-12-08. In other words, the other bars are drawn in the wrong period (since this chart is weekly, this means one week).

I made furthermore the observation that when looking at the "data" in the HTMLs, it seems like the date arrays after the first series one are all off-by-one.

In the previous version, 2.6.3-1 there were no problems with these charts. I even reverted back to that version to confirm that the problems were solely introduced by the new version of gnucash and not some other dependency.

I have attached the HTML exports of the before mentioned reports/charts and the gnucash file used to create those charts.

I made the severity important because this bug makes the charts essentially useless to me since those charts are the major reason I use this application (getting a graphical overview of my income and expenses).

Regards,
Remko Bijker
