Any reason to sync overseas ?
You would get way higher speed (and thus lower sync delay to the network)
syncing from a european mirror, or even Italian mirror.

You may sync from ftp.nl.debian.org or any other ftp.CC.d.o at
https://www.debian.org/CD/mirroring/rsync-mirrors
