Package: bsdutils Version: 1:2.25.1-3 Severity: serious Tags: upstream Justification: crashes Forwarded: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.utilities.util-linux-ng/10000
Hi, as I reported upstream in http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.utilities.util-linux-ng/10000 the script(1) in util-linux 2.25.1 is broken, whereas the one in util-linux 2.20.1 as currently in jessie works fine. This applies to both my x32 regular machine as well as a clean, minimal amd64 and i386 cowbuilder sid chroot, as well as the OpenSuSE Buildservice setup. This bug opened in Debian to prevent a crashing script(1) from migrating to testing, and to track progress. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unreleased APT policy: (500, 'unreleased'), (500, 'buildd-unstable'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: x32 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/lksh Versions of packages bsdutils depends on: ii libc6 2.19-11 ii libsystemd0 215-5+b1 Versions of packages bsdutils recommends: ii bsdmainutils 9.0.5 bsdutils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
