Package: xpdf
Version: 3.03-17+b1
Severity: normal

Viewing the attached file with "xpdf missing-fi.pdf" shows a page image
with blank space instead of the "fi" in the text "Limitations of first
generation..." (the second reference in the "References" section).

A screenshot is also attached -- see the gray semi-transparent ellipse
marking the relevant spot.

The page views fine with mupdf (v1.5) or gv (using gs 9.06). It also
views fine after converting to ps with pdftops and viewing the ps with gv.
