reproduced on current sid. Symlinking /usr/share/gdm/greeter/autostart/spice-vdagent.desktop -> /etc/xdg/autostart/spice-vdagent.desktop fixes the problem. I've implemented this solution in the bug732924-start-spice-vdagent-in-GDM branch in the Vcs-Git, and confirmed it works on current sid. I intend to NMU shortly with these changes at the same time as my fix for #756243. Any reason why I should not?
