It looks like this FTBS is probably just because morituri's tests try to write to HOME during the build (see the relevant lines in cache.py, i.e. via expanduser('~').
This happens from time to time: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=682641 If that's right, then the fix may be as simple as setting HOME to a "mktemp -d" created directory during the (relevant parts of the) build. I might consider an NMU, but since I'm not familiar with CDBS, I thought you might be able to handle it more quickly.
