package description is the place to describe the semantics of atomic functions.

See the standards or the gcc-4.9-doc packages instead for such documentation.
Frankly, I don't think I want to learn how libatomic works. All I'd like to
know is what it contains - why gcc demands it.
Why did you close this ticket? The extended description still opens with an
incomplete sentence.
