Package: tor Version: 0.2.5.8-rc-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
After updating to the last version of tor, I get the following when trying to use tor-resolve: debian:~# tor-resolve ****.****.com localhost:9050 Oct 05 10:33:30.138 [err] tor_assertion_failed_(): Bug: ../src/ext/csiphash.c:156: siphash24g: Assertion the_siphash_key_is_set failed; aborting. Note that I'm able to browse using Tor through privoxy on the same machine without a problem. I looked at the list of existing bugs and couldn't find anything related, but then again I'm no Tor expert so I hope this report is valid.
