You could attach a verbose log of pulseaudio;

$ pulseaudio --kill ; pulseaudio --log-target=file:pa.log --log-time &
# suspend, resume and check the problem happens
$ pulseaudio --kill ; pulseaudio --start # to get a new pulse daemon

That would most certainly help.
