Hi.

IANA operates a whois server that gives information about TLDs,
IP allocations and AS numbers at https://www.iana.org/whois.
The hostname seems to be whois.iana.org which has a CNAME RR to
ianawhois.vip.icann.org.

I think it makes at least sense to have TLDs automatically search
these.

Maybe the AS and IPs can also be integrated, but at least for the
IPs a syntax would need to be found not to conflict with the
(more detailed) results from the RIRs.
