That is a hint. I was not involved in fullscreen stuff but will see what
I can do.

However, if you have time to do some tests, is it possible for you to
test if the upstream version has the same bug (there is a special debian
patch for full screen). If it is also in upstream, are you able to use
git bisec?

A small note, I also encountered some changes in fullscreen that I do not
expect. I did seen the same in xpdf so that might be a more general
problem. But at the moment that is completely open.
