What is the correct file name? /boot/initrd*?
Normally dracut uses initramfs* and debian uses initrd*. I have seen a posting
about this. I think it was your post from 2012.

I have installed my machine with debootstrap and included dracut and tried to
exclude initramfs, because initramfs didn't mount my nfs.
After the install initramfs was still there and the machine wasn't booting.
Dracut was installed, too.

What I did?
1. debootstrap with wheezy
2. chroot to vm-path
3. uninstalled initramfs with aptitude
4. running dracut
5. making symlink relative to new /boot/initramfs*
6. booting
7. running dracut again

Perhaps, there a some config errors if installing with debootstrap from wheezy?

Until now it's not an out-of-the-box install of xen diskless jessie posible.
